Our story
Founded on a single, stubborn idea.
Velza began in 2014 in a one-room office above a bakery in downtown Los Angeles. Our founders had spent a decade rotating through tax firms, advisory practices, and growth agencies ”” watching client after client try to stitch the same handful of providers together into a coherent operation. It rarely worked. Things fell through the seams: missed elections, marketing budgets that did not reconcile to the P&L, websites that handled the brand but not the back office.
The idea was simple: bring it under one roof, hire senior people only, and refuse to bill by the hour. Ten years later we serve more than five hundred companies across thirty-two states. We have grown deliberately and never lost a client to a competitor's pitch.
We are still the firm that picks up the phone on a Friday afternoon when a tax notice arrives. We are also now the firm that ships your new website on Monday morning.
